Entretien
Interview process consisted of interviews (6 people total) with members of the HR team, and team members/leads from across a few different accounts. The interviewers were enthusiastic, kind, and seemed like great teammates. The company sounded great and I had a positive experience. However, I wish I knew more about the length of the interview process going into it. Unfortunately, my final interview was cancelled due to the position undergoing a hiring pause. I would definitely interview with them again if I had the opportunity!!!
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Q: what is your experience managing both up and down? Q: how did you handle conflict on a team successfully? I thought a lot of Ogilvy’s questions were very thorough and thoughtful! Great conversation all around.

Entretien
Only made it through the first round of this process before they filled the role internally. It started with a phone screen casual conversation and the hiring manager was very nice. She was upfront but couldn't share any information on the client.

Question 1
Asked a lot about experience with marketing software.
J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Ogilvy (Chicago, IL) en avr. 2024
Entretien
4 step interview process, took about 2 1/2 months:
Phone screen
Hiring manager
Panel interview
Final panel interview
All were virtual
It was a terrible experience. They told me the range for this position was 84-88k in my first interview, I told them I’m looking closer to 90 but would be open to 88 with other benefits/package.
After my final interview, they ghosted me for 3 weeks, just to call me and offer me the job…. At a salary of 80k. Significantly BELOW the range they identified in the interview.
They were unwilling to budge at all on salary and gave me the verbatim answer when I asked if they could come up at all:
“We are sticking with our offer at $80,000. Completely understand the disappointment – that is the correct salary band, but for folks who have more experience as we have account supervisors ranging from 5-8 years of experience. This $80k gives you the space to grow within the Account Supervisor level and receive a merit increase without a promotion, based on performance/KPIs, financial health of the business, & internal/external benchmarking.”
Denied the offer and moved on. I would have never continued the interview process had I known that was the *true* range and it feels like they wasted my time and their teams in this long interview process just to lowball at the end. It was very offensive and rude.
