There is 1-2 round phone screening followed by one onsite interview. The phone screening is coding where an engineer ask you coding questions, there are system design questions during onsite interview. You can refer to cracking the coding interview for preparations.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Algorithm and system design. New grad should also expect system design questions.

Sending this is a bit unfortunate because my first interviewer was a great experience. However, the bar was dropped severely with the second interviewer. Interviewer provided a simple question in perhaps the most unintuitive explanation. I spent 15 minutes of the interview trying to understand what was even wanted in the question. Seems very much like he just expected me to have the question memorized beforehand. Furthermore, he insisted he "wasn't working" but repeated assumptions I had already made to him while going over my solution. Definitely not a bad experience with the interviewer personally, but, if any interviewers at OfferUp take notes from here, take 10 minutes to simply understand how to state a question quickly and clearly so the person you are interviewing can do their best.

The interview process was really smooth. First round , recruiter asked all behavioral questions such as Tell me about yourself? Why do you want to quit present job? Discuss current project detail in brief? Tell about your role in the project? Why do you want to join OfferUp ? and then gave a Introduction about back-end team at OfferUp.
It consist of two technical phone interview rounds using coder pad . First round , I was presented a graph question which consist of multiple cycles(nested cycle in a cycle). I need to find total number of distinct cycles available in the graph. I applied recursion and wrote a DFS approach. Second round, I was given a String Manipulation problem from HARD section of leetcode, popularly known as Word Ladder 2.
Thank you for taking the time to interview with OfferUp. We're glad you had a positive experience and if you're still interested we invite you to apply again after 6 months. Best of luck in your job search.
