the first 2-3 rounds were relatively quickly sceduled. first was a round with 2 managers, which was very professional. the second round was with the wider team, more like a pannel interview.
the last and final round was with the head of cs.
i was made to believe in my second round that i had the job, everyone seemed happy and assured me that the last round would just be formality. 2 months in, i still havent heard back.
after chasing them, the replied a month ago that i am still on their hot candidates list.
i am not expecting anything anymore.
but it does annoy me, that they wasted my time and energy. i had to prepare for these interviews (powerpoint presentation in the second round), for them to just disappear. i might have asked too many honest questions in my last round.
which makes me wonder, if that was the reason - but looking back, i think it was right to ask these questions. because if i found out these things after accepting the job, it would not have been a right fit for me anyway and i would have had to quit the job.
it seems to be a nice company and nice people work there. the head of cs comes across very polite but is two faced, beware!

Question 1
why osisoft
challenging situation, etc.
what qualities do you bring to this job
Great and straightforward interview process. Usual questions. Multiple interviews. All interviewers were very kind and informative. Definitely come prepared to talk and as usual do your homework on the company. They were recently bought by AVEVA, a UK based company. So it would be smart to ask questions around that.

I saw the ad in LinkedIn and connected with the recruiter. She told me I was a good fit for the position and that she wanted to interview me. We had a call the following day. She wrote me a few days later she'd have an answer in a couple of days. A week went by and I followed up, she answered another week after that confirming an interview with the hiring manager.
They cancelled the interview the very same day of the interview, and when I followed up, 1 week after she replied that they had filled the position already.
Truly dissapointed on the recruitment process and how disrespectful they are to people.
