Entretien
Three stages. An introductory call, a technical test, and then a call with the CTO. Friendly smart people interviewing at every stage. Very engaging process. Technical test in particular is sensible, 3 hours to work on the problem and then a call to review code. Nothing too taxing, but led to some interesting conversations.

Entretien
Initially had a recruiter reach out and then moved onto the hiring manager interview, which was just a cultural fit/experience check, which went well. Next was the take home project, as others have mentioned, which is pretty open ended. There are a few "minimum" requirements and some suggested "reach goals" but the rest is open ended. Was not given any feedback for a week. Tried reaching out to the hiring manager for questions and to follow up and didnt hear back. Then finally received a call from the recruiter saying they decided to move forward with other candidates. The hiring manager said they always love to give feedback, but here I am asking and nothing. If that's how they are during the interview process, I can imagine the nightmare it is working with them.

Entretien
First chat was great and quick and seemed like good rapport. Then the madness started - take home exercise with some very open ended instructions in my case which was essentially "do as much of it as you want and feel like and focus on a few things that we discussed". All good, so I gave it a good go and submitted it within the week. Then that same person in charge of the hiring went missing and no feedback for 2 weeks. Finally, managed to get back in touch and within a day they replied to say "it's not good enough" and no other feedback. There's no way that task was not up to scratch and there was no further feedback. Waste of time. Terrible interview experience - won't apply here again.
