Standard. Recruiter -> Director -> Likely more steps (maybe one or two more?)
I made it to the director stage, and, candidly, this was a very unprofessional interview. The guy was a few minutes late, and he seemed extremely disinterested in everything I was saying. I'm not even sure he heard me about 40% of the time, because his Wi-Fi kept cutting in and out. My answers definitely reflected his energy. I felt disinterest just from personality alone, so my answers seemed nervous. I'm not surprised I was rejected off shaky answers alone, but it definitely stemmed from the vibe curated by the director alone.
By the end of the interview, he was late to another meeting (elite time management), and he was laughing and reading Slack messages while I was actively talking to him and asking him questions. Bearing in mind, this was the time I needed since he was 5 minutes late originally. He wasn't making eye contact and just giggling at some coworker's messages.
Very rude and unprofessional. I was extremely interested in the company, but this is unacceptable behavior from a director.
