I had one phone interview with first. There were two interviewers, and I was asked basic questions about my experience and background. Then I was invited for an on-site interview, which lasted about four hours. I was interviewed by several people and met with several different groups. I showed samples of my work and gave a presentation/training demonstration. Later I had another phone interview with someone who could not attend the in-person interview. Finally, I was invited for a second on-site interview which lasted several hours and included meetings with several different people, some of whom I had met before, and some new people. Although the multi-step process was rather long and arduous, everyone was very kind and professional, and it was very well organized, and I got the opportunity to learn a lot about the organization and the position.
