I was reached out to on linkedin by the hiring manager, who had definitely looked at my resume and portfolio prior, and we scheduled an interview. communication was good, the interview lasted an hour, and within a few days i received a follow up that they were declining - i very much appreciate that they did NOT ghost me! i wasn't the right fit for the role, but the interview process was still a positive one.
