Standard interview process. Starts with a phone screening by the recruiter asking straight forward employment questions. May ask a simple behavior question.
Then followed up with a more technical/behavioral interview with the hiring manager and other engineers.
J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Northrop Grumman (Chicago, IL) en févr. 2019
Entretien
It began with a recruiter contacting me from an online application to screen me behaviorally and testing my communication skills. Next was a phone interview screen with a hiring manager including a descriptive resume review and some very basic technical questions. I was then flown into their facility for an on site interview to meet with 4-5 managers. The interview was detailed and extremely technical. The process was very casual and conversation based, not structured. It was more-so to test my technical capabilities as well as see how I got along with the managers and other team members. The on-site interview began by introducing ourselves and establishing a general rapport. Next was an powerpoint of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems and their capabilities. Then we dove into an overview of the specific engineering group I would be hired into to understand the hierarchy as well as the specific capabilities and responsibilities within the group. After that portion of the interview, I met with another manager to go over a technical test involving circuit analysis and electrical engineering concepts. Once that was done, I was given a tour of the facility and taken to lunch inside their on-campus cafeteria. I then met with the recruiter after the interview to review the interview process and discuss the general consensus of the hiring managers.
