I was referred to be set up for an interview by a talent requisition who visited my college campus for an ACM meeting. I was extremely appreciative for the opportunity, but was only given 2 days to prepare for the interview. I brushed up on linked lists, but that wasn't good enough. I received a panel interview and they asked me to write a stack program on the board. I had taken my data structures course over a year ago, and of course, I completely blanked out. It was a huge ego crush for me and caused me to re-think my entire major considering I couldn't even do something as simple as that. Regardless, it was a great experience, but Northrop Grumman is just definitely not where I meant nor where I want to be.

A basic phone interview that just had me describe portions of my resume and about the work I would do at the company. It was only one behavioral interview and then they will give you an offer if you got accepted.

The interview lasted an hour. I interviewed with 4 different people separately during that hour. I think this was because there were 4 different intern positions. The first half of the interview usually consisted of them asking questions based on my resume and asking what I knew about NG and why I wanted to work there. The other half of the interview consisted of them explaining what the position entailed and answering the questions I had for them.

I was approached by a recruiter at a college fair to apply for the summer intern position. I applied online and I was selected to be interviewed at the Redondo Beach office. I was interviewed by three manager level employees who were very professional and friendly. The interview itself was pretty informal. They asked about my past work experience and answered all the questions that I asked about the company and their experience.
