J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Northrop Grumman (New York, NY) en nov. 2019
Entretien
I applied for the job online and a recruiter emailed me about the job with a few questions. I responded to the questions and ultimately the recruiter had more questions. I responded to the email as well. When the recruiter received the answers to the questions, I received a phone call letting me know that an interview would be setup. An interview coordinator reached out to see which date and time would work best for me and once I confirmed the interview was set. The interview was a panel interview with three functional managers. They all worked on the same project, but had their own teams. The interview was going well until one of the managers started to ask questions as if I was unqualified for the position. Not only did I think it was very unprofessional, but I didn't think the interview was the proper place to try to discredit a candidate. Need to definitely hire more professional managers.
Took weeks to get a phone call after applying to the position. Went onsite for the interview. I was asked a few technical questions and some behavioral ones as well.
Basic interview process for an Engineering position, nothing out of the ordinary. However, the need to have a security clearance causes the hiring process to take months and months. Be prepared to wait for extended periods of time before the actual onboarding starts.
It was an average/typical interview. There was not anything unexpected. The whole interview process did take awhile. You just have to be prepared to hurry up and wait. I would imagine with any large company there is alot of dead time in between.
