I interviewed by phone only after submitting an online application. An HR Rep called to set up the phone interview. The manager was located at another facility. There was no HR screening prior to the manager interview. There was no face-to-face interview. Was offered job about 2 weeks after phone interview. Questions were typical and related to my previous experience and the job requirements.

Was more behavioral and focused on your experience listed on your resume. After the layoffs, it might be more difficult to get an offer, even if you interned there. If you interned and get a job offer there is no interview process.

Very chill, around 30 min, mainly went through my resume describing experiences, what I would do differently, and summarizing my work. They also asked basic get to know you interview questions and left time for my own questions. I only have 1 interview in the process before I got hired for an internship, but the process may differ from each team. It seemed more like checking that I did everything I said on my resume rather than testing my ability.

Prescreen then schedule. I interviewed with northrop grumman 3 times, and let me tell you. They need to stop having junior level engineer interview senior candidate. A lot of them dont have actual experience beyond basic internet knowledge vs the industry. Interview asked me how to hardening docker image. I gave him clear answer it is depending on what type it is, there are thousand image that would be configure differently. Not even interesting in these guys even with an offer.
