I applied online, and received a call 5 days later for a phone interview. The phone interview was very relaxed. I was asked about my previous retail and sales experience; and why I would thrive in a commisioned based atmosphere. After I passed the phone interview i was told that I would receive a call to set up an interview with a department manager. The department manager called me 2 days later to set up a 1:1 interview. The 1:1 interview wasn't too bad. I made sure to build rapport with the department manager. I was asked questions about my biggest sell, my competitive nature, and I was asked to sell a particular garment in the department I was applying for. Two days later I was called with an offer for employment.

I applies on February 5th, 2022 for a full time position as a Retail Sales Associate for the Women's Apparel department at Nordstrom.
I was emailed March 1st, 2022 about a phone interview with someone. My phone interview was scheduled for the next day, March 2nd, 2022. I was literally asked 5 questions and we had a very comfortable and fun chat about selling abilities, work history, competition in the work place, and my personal life.
She called back the next day, March 3rd, 2022 and had spoken with the specific hiring manager for the Nordstrom location I applied to. They loved my interview responses and offered me the position.
My first day of training in a few days from now, March 8th, 2022 at 9AM. I am very excited and I was glad that I only had to have the one interview. I know in the past it has been 2-3, or sometimes even 4 separate interviews before an offer is made.

Entretien
I contacted the company’s recruiter through LinkedIn and she set an interview with the hiring manager.
First interview was over the phone:
I was asked questions on information from my resume: experience, knowledge, skills;
Second interview was in person: on ability to work as a part of the team, your personality, attitude, motivational skills.
Manager was friendly, overall process was pleasant.
The timing from contacting recruiter to the hiring moment was around 2-3 weeks

Entretien
One manager brought me into the interview room where another interview was taking place with a different manager. I was offered a position, albeit a different one than I applied to, right after the first interview.
