Nordstrom's hiring process is extremely user friendly and fast-paced. I applied online, had a phone interview the next day, and was in interviewing within the next couple days. I found out I got the internship the following day. Nordstrom prides themselves on an efficient hiring process, not just because turnover is so high within the system, but also to not drag along the candidate.

The interviewing process was easy- just about competition, leadership and selling skills, and talking basically about yourself. Pretty easy to do that!

The first interview was a video interview that asked you questions and you submitted videos of you answering them. Then the second was with a real person. You heard back about the second interview within a couple weeks.

It was fairly easy as it was one interview for about 45 minutes and then a couple of on-floor questions to see how well you could sell. The HR Managers in the San Diego locations do a phenomenal job at communicating the process.

I applied online and a recruiter reached out to me the very next day with options of interview dates. The interview was held on the first floor of Nordstrom. There were a handful of others as well
