I applied in late March and got an interview one-two weeks after my application. First Round: You have a typical phone interview with the recruiter. She was nice; I do not have any criticism for this part. Second Round: You're given a two-part assessment. One is to write an email to the employees explaining the new leave policies. They send you a link for the culture deck, so I recommend using that to draft it. It has their company linger (ex. noomers) and the font/colors they use. This is super easy. The second part was a data assessment. The data assessment was poorly written. They gave you a spreadsheet and asked you to do three things: "Identify the employees that are on unpaid leave. Identify the number of unpaid leave days for those employees. Calculate the number of days to deduct from their pay.'" The last two requests seem the same to me, so I just calculated the amount of money deducted from their pay because that's what I think they were trying to ask. This was easy to if you're good with excel, but I can see how the way the full prompt was written can mess you up. Third Round: This round was with the head of HR Ops. I do not like her. She was cold and disinterested. When it came time for me to ask questions, she looked annoyed. I like to ask detailed questions just to figure out who my future boss is, and I knew we would not have worked well together. She's arrogant, rude and plays it as "I saw it how it is/I'm direct." Also, she does not have a lot of direct HR experience, so I was not sure I was going to learn and grow as a professional in that role. Fourth Round: I didn't make it to the last round, as you can imagine, but it would have been a super day where you interview a lot of employees from the company. Rejection Letter: I surprisingly did not get the "do-not-reply" rejection letter. The recruiter emailed me a kind note. Again, she was very nice.

      Question 1

Tell me about yourself tell me about a time you made a process easier Tell me about a time you change a policy (if you come from a large company you know this is not that easy to do lol)

The first step of the interview process was to complete an assessment test. The first part asked you to write a sample email testing written communication skills which was simple enough. The second part involved pulling data from a spreadsheet to answer questions. The idea of giving an assessment test is a great idea. However, the instructions for the second part of the test made no sense and were poorly written. I even had other people look at it and they too could not make sense of what they were asking. Even the instructions on how to submit the application were conflicting. If you are going to send out tests like these, at least make sure that they are comprehendible.

I applied through their website and then received an email saying I was selected for the next steps. The next steps were a two-part assessment that took about 1-2 hours. I thought the assessment was relevant and thought-provoking. I returned the assessment and didn't hear back for another two weeks. I eventually received an automated email saying they weren't moving forward. I understand if they moved forward with someone else, didn't like my work, or put the position on hold due to COVID, however, asking candidates to do an assessment and then not taking any time to personally connect with them is pretty unprofessional and makes me question how serious they take customer and candidate experience. Some kind of feedback would have been nice. Personally, I am now pretty turned off by Noom and their product. I spent 2 hours working on their assessment and got an automated scripted email back. I see most of their recruiters are pretty junior, so perhaps they don't understand the importance of candidate experience.

Assessment was sent first. Email stated that they "would be in touch with next steps, which is a conversation with one of our recruiters," which never happened. Wasn't given a chance to explain the work and they were "unable to respond to specific feedback requests."
