Applied online. Flash forward two months and one of the companies recruiters reached out to me, asking if i was still available. I replied immediately, we briefly talked about my experience in the field (it was applications in bioinformatics) and then he said he'd forward my resume on to a project manager to see what he thought. I waited for a couple weeks before reaching out again - no reply. I assume they had filled the position or I wasn't the right fit: either way a notification would have been nice.

1 screening call with the recruiter, followed by a 1 Hr long technical session. Tech sesh has no panel, and consists of both live coding, qna on robotics fundamentals, and open ended design questions

Direct interview with management assessing fit, knowledge and the nature of the work. Discussion about location, salary, benefits and expectations. Asked about other interests and future education plans including advanced degrees and certifications.

I received a couple phone calls and a final video chat. The process was over several months. Most were questions about experience and history. The final video chat were some technical questions and more focused on if I can fit with the project
