Thanks for your feedback. Our assessment days are designed to be intensive, so we can see how well candidates react under pressure but we do also try to make them a fun experience too.
Sadly, consultancy has historically attracted more men than women, however we’re doing lots to address the problem at Newton. We have pledged that 30% of our leadership will be female in the next three years and 40% of our workforce, compared to 35% currently. We partner with a number of female-led societies and run events aimed at attracting women to consulting.
Lastly, we have at least one female assessor present at each assessment centre and have a review at the end of each day to ensure we are consistent with our decision making across all our selection events as well as identifying any areas we can improve on.
