J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez Newgen Software (New Delhi) en nov. 2010

Newgen Softwares selection process is a bit tough, but if you are good, you are surely going to make through it. First of all, they took a written test consisting of aptitute and core. Aptitute paper had questions of varied difficulties, but if you have solved R.S Aggrawal and have some exposure to solving DI questions, you will find it easy.English section was very easy. Core paper was a bit tough and consisted of questions from various subjects. DBMS was asked a lot. Selected students were made to sit in a psychometric test round. It was an elimination round, but don't worry about it at all. Then comes the interview. The technical interviewer asked me the subjects I am comfortable with and asked me questions only from those subjects. Some coding was also given to be done, esp link list problems, fibonocii series, etc. Finally the HR round followed in which they asked general questions about yourself. That's all. So if you are seriously thinking of getting into Newgen, just work upon your area of interest and some C coding.
