Frankly bizarre interview. Interviewed for a curatorial role at the Chitra Collection at Newby Teas; questions included: "do you like tea?" "what's your favourite tea?" and "where are you from?" Perhaps that's suitable small-talk for before or after the interview, but these questions were sandwiched in-between talking about my professional experience and I didn't think they were relevant to my ability to do the job. I was left with the impression that the historic collection is very much an afterthought as they were clear that the team and resources are limited.
