The recruiter call was conducted by someone overseas who was going through the questions as a formality. The virtual interview with the hiring manager then took place within a week via Google Meet. It was a detailed conversation covering my experience, design approach, and past projects. After that, I was given a sample design brief with three deliverables, all to be submitted via Google Slides: (1) a design-direction moodboard slide, (2) a mobile-first design slide with two finished screens, and (3) a desktop design slide with two finished screens. The deadline was four days, which felt quite tight. There would have been another interview after the design test, but I accepted another offer before the process continued.
