Entretien
You meet with the manager who is recruiting you to his/her sales force. You're asked about your interests, experience; company background is explained to you. The interview is very conversational: you're not being grilled so much as observed, most likely for your communication skills, personable demeanor, dress, etc. You're basically told "this job isn't for everybody, but for the right person, it's the best career you could have, at the best company". I'd say that was pretty accurate. There is a computerized test, to see if you're candidate material: This is before training begins and before the NY State licensing exam.

Long process. Be prepared to be uncovered wide-open. Extensive back ground check. They claim to pay a salary, but the allowance is more like a drawl.
The allowance is equivelant to slightly above mimimun wage. You would need a part-time job to survive or another side-hustle.

Two interviews with a hiring agent and a managing partner after completing an online assessment, typically used for insurance positions. The assessment takes 30 minutes and is conducted online. The interviews were conducted on phone and via zoom.

They asked about my work experience and my income goals.
Casual, responsive, and fairly easy. A lot of the interview process is learning about the company. The questions are straightforward and focus on attitude and experience. Overall, you will be assigned a manager to interview you and test your relationship-building skills and team skills.
