Interview process was pretty straightforward. A recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn and I booked some time to chat with them. My role, expectations, qualifications, and salary were within what they were looking to hire.
I had a phone interview/chat with the hiring manager, Lavi, it went well and was invited to come back for a second in-person interview/presentation.
During the in-person presentation, I absolutely crushed it! The hiring manager and I were vibing pretty well and the conversations were going really well. We wrapped up on a positive note and I left the office feel excited about next steps overall.
A few days later, I get an automated email saying that they are not continuing my candidacy with no feedback whatsoever. I wrote a quick email to the hiring manager, Lavi, asking for any feedback or where I can improve for other roles. I receive no word back. I reach out again two days later, explaining that I had spent a good bit of time preparing, planning, creating the presentation for them (and also spending time going to the office), and would really appreciate any feedback. Still no response or feedback. I felt really disrespected for the time and effort I put into the conversations and interviews I had with them, for them to very informally send me a rejection email with no context/feedback on an interview that I personally felt really good about.
