The recruiter only emailed after work hours (9PM or later), which already raised concerns of work/life balance, but after a few instances of no shows, the recruiter finally showed up for the first round interview. The call was thirty minutes of asking me if I understood the benefits and was clear the recruiter was not prepared in any way regarding the role. I tried to ask questions about the role to highlight my qualifications, but I was told that should be saved for the hiring manager. After a series of follow up emails, I still have not heard back.

Competition is intense. They get some many applicants for each open position and then tend to hire within the company first so it is very hard to get your foot in the door.
