The process is fast. 1st round was the HR screening, when the HR asked you some basic statistic questions (answer yes or no). 2nd round was to talk with a data scientist, who would ask you questions related to basic data science (t-test, the definition of SD....), 3rd round was to talk with another data scientist, who would ask you probability questions (dice, coin.....) and data science-related coding. The whole interview process is actually to try to recruit a data scientist instead of a biostatistician. All questions are similar to interview questions in hiring a data scientist in the tech company. None of these questions were related to biostatistics as well as biostatistician experience. Based on the interview, I THINK they are actually trying to hire a data scientist (but will pay much less than a tech data scientist based on the pay range from the HR). So if you are interested in Natera, I would suggest just preparing tech data scientist interview questions and leetcode coding. Do not worry if you do not have any biostatistics background!
Just a technical phone screen with a recruiter. INSANE technical questions that make me wonder who on earth knows the answers to those questions! Random and so incredibly specific and mathematical!

Question 1
Something about maximum likelihood, but quite specific.
