Applied online by filling an application form. Had an online test and this was followed by a telephone interview. I spend days researching the company only to find out at the beginning of my telephone interview that the salary was a complete lie. They advertised 23-32k. I already had extensive expertise in the area and applied on the basis of being in the higher salary bracket. I was informed on the phone that regardless of my experience everyone started at the bottom. I would start on 23k and should hope to reach 32k in 3-5 years. I was very angry with them for wasting my time and informed them that if everyone got 23k then why should the advert even state 32k. Absolute disgrace and completely misleading.

The interview followed the interview form which they send to candidates. There was two branch managers one asking questions the other one taking notes. followed by a practice test. It took around 1.30 hours.
When it comes to the feedback, they usually call after 2 weeks but usually you’d have to chase them as they do not respect the time agreed for calls and often just ignore candidates.

Professional and friendly, they made me feel comfortable and really engaged with my responses. They left room for any questions and answered each one attentively. Probably one of the most comfortable interviews I have had.
Straightforward interviewing involving star format questions and a role play to assess active listening and customer service skills, not related to banking was just a random scenario. Interviewer was patient and will repeat questions if you need them to.
