Entretien
This interview was for the "Mechanical Engineering Intern" position at Arthur Kill Generating Station, Staten Island, NY.
First there was a phone interview, which was pretty in-depth with Resume review and work-environment related questions.
The next step was an on-site interview at the power plant.
First there were some Resume review questions, then followed by a tour of the facility, where we walked through the basic steam cycle of the plant's main unit, all the while going through technical questions about the steam cycle.
Then I was asked to do a simple measurement task on a piece of equipment, with a provided list of things to measure.
Next I was asked to solve a basic loading problem for a static system.
Lastly, I went over a detailed Resume review with the plant manager, and went through all the typical questions like, "Why do you want to work here".

This was a 2 stage interview starting with 1 online and then an in person. Meeting with the hiring manager and department director. Got an offer within a few weeks of the second interview.

Entretien
Application is done through skillbridge website then phone call from talent acquisition. The call was a brief summery of the position and locations available. The talent acquisition agent will try and place the candidates in an open best suited to their strengths.

Phone interview was conducted between different weeks and different people. First started with a recruiter, and then continuing to move up higher at NRG. The last interview was with multiple people who worked in the company.
