      very much a fishy process from the start - Recruiter just keeps whole contact from China on Linkedin - no email or no phone call. - Invited for the first round with HR and didn't ask any questions on my background or any motivation. Just directly into what they want, what they need, and all just own selfish needs. - Then you are invited with some HR team members , who are so unprofessional on calls, they present everything about the company so good - when from my own research it came out that most people are leaving HR team or are dissatisfied with their leadership. - It was so easy and got invited to next round, with HR manager a lady from China who was more interested to know about my private life that professional. - Lastly a round with HR head from China, who doesn't speak English but he is the head of HR for whole company. Most of the conversation was lost in translation. Overall very immature process and they are good at buttering everything.

      It was an energy and soul draining interview process ! I had SEVEN interviews and was interviewed by NINE people. Initially, I was fine to go through the whole process for me to better know the company, the role, the environment, and the people that I will be working with. Unfortunately, there were a lot of RED FLAGS along the way. - There was no formal EMAIL interview invite. Everything was through LinkedIn message. As a candidate, you would feel that it is not a real interview - They mentioned that relocation is supported and will not be an issue. In the end, they said that there will be some issues. Funny isn't it ? - Job description says Full Time-Permanent but then later on they changed it to a "Fixed Term" contract with a chance of becoming a permanent role - They asked the same typical functional-technical even behavioral questions from the 1st interview to the seventh. This is quite devastating as they would need more and more interviewer asking the same questions just to identify the right candidate. - The Director could not understand English that much hence there were some translators. There were some moments in which the director misunderstood the interview answers. - and many more ! On the other hand, some of them were very nice and I feel very welcomed. My recommendation is to revamp your interview process. Come up with a more logical yet impactful candidate interview experience. In the end, it was a blessing in disguise. Best of luck, NIO !
