J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez NIKE (Shanghai, Shanghai) en févr. 2025
Entretien
After passing the online assessment, I was remotely interviewed for a software engineer position in Shanghai, China in Chinese. The interview questions and experience were terrible, and they were very much in line with the bad stereotype of technical job interviews in China. The three interviewers' questions were very dogmatic and rigid, and they expected the successful interviewee to memorize all the computer theory knowledge. Rather than looking for an engineer who can solve problems, they are looking for a candidate who has successfully stood out in the Chinese college entrance examination system.
The interview process consisted of two technical rounds followed by one managerial round. I did not receive an offer after the process, but the overall experience was positive. The recruiter contacted me, and within three days the interviews were scheduled, which reflected an efficient hiring process. All the interview panelists were professional, supportive, and approachable throughout the discussions. They asked relevant questions, provided clarification whenever needed, and created a comfortable environment that allowed me to express my thoughts confidently. Even though the outcome was not favorable, I appreciated the experience and the opportunity to interact with the team.
There are several rounds of technical interviews with different senior engineers and the hiring manager on the team. A minimum of one behavioral interview where it is very important to highlight why Nike compared to other companies specifically.
