After filling out a lengthy questionnaire and being invited to interview, I was asked to complete a timed, written test. The scenario involved a person who was probably depressed, as he stayed in all day eating and playing computer games. Ideal life, right? Anyway, I filled out the answers to questions, such as, 'How do you think he feels?'.
I was then called into a small room where staff were sitting. They explained more about the role and asked questions like, 'Would you be able to be away from home for training?'
Later that day, I received a call back saying that I hadn't got the job. The interviewer was nasty about it. In all my time of having (numerous) interviews, I have never come across someone so vile. There was no feedback on the written test, either.
I suppose, given how nasty this person was, I had a lucky escape.
