      Entretien

Had a call with a recruiter then met with the hiring manager in Emeryville, which is a bit of a big ask considering the lack of access to public transportation. I had a nice conversation with the hiring manager. He was very interesting and asked thoughtful questions. This role fell a bit outside my skill set, so I knew it was a bit of a reach/wasn't full expecting to move forward. I had a call scheduled with the recruiter a week or so after this meeting with the hiring manager. She never called. It took two followup emails for her to acknowledge me. She was apologetic, but it was a really an unpleasant experience - if I can rent a Zipcar to go to Emeryville to meet with a single person, acknowledging a missed phone call in a somewhat timely fashion seems reasonable, no? I understand that smaller companies have to outsource some recruiting work, but I hope Nexon M actually reads the criticism from candidates here because there are similarities. Looks like contract recruiters are souring the reputation of a company who has seemingly decent employees. Like most people, I share entertaining/notable things in my life with my friends and acquaintances. All of them have heard this story about Nexon M. I hope they treat candidates with a bit more respect moving.

Thank you so much for your candid and direct feedback about your experience with Nexon M as a candidate for our UA team. On behalf of the entire studio, we hope that you will accept our sincere apologies for what you experienced. Our recruiting team works diligently to provide an outstanding experience for all candidates and in this instance, we failed to achieve that goal. Although, in the vast majority of cases, our candidates experience an outstanding level of engagement, any instance in which we fail to do that is regrettable and something we appreciate knowing about through your feedback outlined here. Again, please accept our apologies.
