It took me a while to post this, since I was not sure if I should bring up the unprofessional behavior of one hiring manager at the expense of others. So let's start with the positives: Overall I did really enjoy all my interactions with the Muleys at Mulesoft. Everyone is super friendly and the recruiters were helpful and proactive about keeping in touch and providing feedback. The process was long and stringent as many others mentioned, and they get your hopes up by saying how much they like you throughout the process. I was disappointed that they invited me to their office 3 times and had asked for my referrals before deciding to reject me. The worst part though, is that I was asked about my age during my interview with the hiring manager! I was apprehensive, but gave my age, after which she went on to ask if I have a problem that others on the team would be younger! It felt wrong to have to answer such questions and I would like to caution other candidates to this unprofessional behavior.

Recruiter phone screen, manager interview, regional vp interview, group interview, very clear communication from recruiter throughout entire process. Expectation of each step were set accurately, gave me plenty of prep help, great overall experience.
