I received a call from Hr for interview for one of banking client location. Also asked for acknowledment over mail. In mail JD was shared as Core Java 1.7 (mandatory), Good to have additional skills like Spring mvc. After 2-3 days my telephonic interview was conducted. In introduction I told about my previous 1.7 years experience with Java 1.8 & advanced Java frameworks Spring MVC, Hibernate. But Interviever asked only all core java based questions. No question on Spring mvc, hibernate was asked. After half hour interview he said Hr will contact you. After no response for 2 days, I called hr. There were 2 hr's. Initially both told we havent got any feedback. Next day 1 hr said you are not selected. Then I asked reason for rejection and also shared audio recording of interview call. I had answered almost every question correct. Then I also asked other hr (from I received a mail) he told no we havent got any feedback yet. Will let you know once we get feedback.After 1 week I called both hr's. Both Hr told we checked with interview panel ,even if you answered the questions correctly, they were looking for more skills and experience. one hr said during this covid situation, they are rejecting many of them just like this. Will let you know if any other suitable opening comes. Since I was having vast experience in Spring MVC, Hibernate also if they would have asked me that, I would have answered that also. If there is no requirement, then why are you scheduling interviews during covid
