      J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez MoveHQ

      Entretien

      The first step was to meet with a few of the lead devs and discuss your background. During this time a paper test was given with some general programming questions. The second step was the in-person coding challenge. Needless to say it was ludicrous. If you have never used vTiger (nobody ever has), you're in for a treat. There is literally no documentation on vTiger itself and MoveHQ does not have a good history of documenting code. So you're literally stuck trying to figure out to do for 4 hours. After both steps have been completed, they look at the written test and briefly at the code you did (or didn't) for the in-person coding challenge. The rule-of-thumb was that if it was "sort of" correct, then you passed and you would get hired. This very lackluster process is most likely why they had to let so many people go because they were unqualified. They definitely need to do a better job of screening people to make sure they're actually qualified. It's understandable why they have you do a coding test in vTiger, but at the same time it's a bit ridiculous because of the learning curve of vTiger due to the lack of documentation. It take literally about the whole time allotted for the test just to figure out how vTiger works. You have to go through step-by-step to figure things out.

      We appreciate your feedback. Unfortunately there is no full proof method to assess potential candidates for hire. Much like there is no full proof method for employees to assess potential companies. If these methods existed no one would ever change jobs as they'd have their perfect fit. MoveHQ continues to evolve and assess our interview processes. Any interview processes were not related to, or the cause of, any reorganization that occurred. Reorganization efforts occur based on the current and future direction of the company and the associated workforce required to meet the objectives set based on that direction.
