Applied online. Received email response from recruiter. Typical recruiter phone interview.
Recruiter scheduled a panel with hiring manager (director-level) as well as one other Director and two VPs. Interviews spread over 2 days.
Commentary from one interviewer included "you seem well suited for this job."
And then nothing. Ghosted.

Entretien
I went through the whole process to the final steps, including an interview with an executive - and was ghosted. Completely ghosted, several email follow-ups and I couldn't even get a "Thanks but no thanks" from the hiring manager, interview team, or recruiter.
This followed an ask for a 20-slide presentation (with no template provided), from scratch, to do in 72 hours over a weekend - which took approximately 12 hours worth of work. My gut instinct was to let them know my hourly consulting rate, but because I had such great interactions with the team, I relented and did it.
I wonder if they took my work for free after the presentation?
Anyway, I'm glad I saw this side of the company, and avoided making a career mistake.

Entretien
No alignment between the recruiter and hiring manager with regards to which position they are talking to the candidate about.
Got contacted by the recruiter for a specific 'Sr. PMM' position (they have many open positions). He then set up a call with the hiring manager. Few minutes into the call realized the hiring manager is talking about a different PMM role which was for a service-oriented product than Saas focused and also not a senior role. The reason we seek certain specific positions is that there is an alignment in the job role and right growth path. If the role that you showcase is different from what you are offering, it is a waste of precious time for both the candidate and the company. Disappointing experience.
