Be ready for a long process. It''s supposed to be a good, strict process, but I've seen some great guys get turned away for stupid stuff, while I've seen criminals get through that shouldn't have had a chance. The psychological test is the biggest joke of all I'd say. Good luck.

Submit application online, do physical fitness and background packet, interview panel, initial job offer, hair drug test, background investigation, polygraph examination, psychological test, medical exam. Then scheduled for the police academy.
