Fairly easy in my opinion. You meet with sgt, lt, and Captain first. Physical abilities test, physical at urgent care, interview with a psychologist. That’s pretty much it. Not to hard.

If you know someone and they like you, you will get in. You will go before a panel. General questions will be asked. If you are going to be going forward, they will invite you to job shadow and see what it's like to work in a jail setting. Be honest with yourself, working in a jail isn't for everyone. If you play hockey, you have a GREAT chance of getting in.
