HR interview, then technical interview. The tech interviewer wasn't a strong tech person, she asked vague questions and expected very specific responses, for example "message types between microservices" she expected me to answer "sync and async" while asking for async/await I tried to explain her how async converts the method in a state machine but doesn't make it run in a separate thread just because you added async keyword. She didn't understand my answer. Then she asked me to move my camera, like if she supspected that somebody was telling me the answers.. that's impossible, I answered clear questions with common words and specific details on real cases from my job. When it was my turn to ask I asked how is a deveopment day over there but didn't get an answer as tech interviewer are not developers. Then asked about unlimited PTOs: non technical but wanted somebody how that crazy stuff could work in reality (I suspect that you ended not having vacations). She didn't like the answer too much. Also, I receive a pdf attachment about how their CTO is such an awesome person... noisy. Didn't get an offer, but that's perfectly fine.
