J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez MongoDB en oct. 2024

Absolutely horrible. I was scheduled on Monday for an interview on Wednesday. I received a cancellation notice saying that they extended an offer. Why in the hell would you schedule people to interview if you're that close to an offer? That's terrible recruiting ethics and a terrible candidate experience.

Recruitment process similar to a sales process :
evaluation of our drive / motivation / intelligence
evaluation of our qualification skills (listening skills / empathy / relevancy of our questions) and ability to build champions within the organisation
evaluation of our closing skills (feedback / next step)

I was approached for a Senior Recruiter role in Singapore but there was no JD or live role for that role. The first interview was by a recruiter in India who said it was for pipelining for a future role & did an initial screening. Eventually i was shortlisted for a 2nd interview and the recruiter from India asked lot of questions on how to recruit for a Singapore & SE Asia market. It didn't sound like an interview but more like getting to know how they can hire for their difficult roles in SE Asia. I figured out that, they didn't have any actual role for Senior Recruiter but used it as an excuse to interview seasoned recruiters in Singapore to understand the recruiting methodologies.
It was quite a bad experience and very immature behavior for a brand like MongoDB.
My advise is to interview candidates for open roles & don't give false expectations.
