Hiring manager provided a complicated yet boring text parsing exercise. I completed most of it but lost interest. This manager was extremely late to both an on site interview and a follow up at a neutral location. Conversation with manager's direct report revealed a dysfunctional and toxic working relationship. Manager closed the interview by asking if I had any concerns. I explained that the lack of professionalism and poor team dynamics are red flags.
