Entretien
Participants were to complete three stages:
1. A cognitive assessment.
2. A 3rd-party proctored coding challenge
3. A company-fit meeting with the CTO.
Never in my life have a seen an engineering organization require a cognitive challenge. Additionally, they proctor the coding challenge, but don’t have their own team members assisting with it, which is incredibly abnormal.
Final oddity: you were allowed to doing the coding challenge in any language, but they “preferred” Java. I completed it in TypeScript and got a great score. They came back and said I needed to redo it in Java.

Entretien
Began with a 30-minute phone screen discussing my background, relevant experience, and career trajectory. This was followed by a 45-minute technical deep dive focused on architecture decisions, tradeoffs, debugging strategies, and detailed walkthroughs of past projects.
