All the basic interview questions were asked about the job, except the main issue was the hiring process. I was told I would be allocated a fee of 50% split of fee, along with having a company lapto and being (for the most part) remote.
I was never given any of these terms in writing (in spite of my polite request), and the first day I was initially supposed to show up for a start date was then pushed out another week.
After showing up a week later, the owner (Mike) deicded to change the terms to 35% and to imprve that split by a case by case determining which would last about 4-6 months. Also, he asked me to do basic excel spreadhseets and set up a desk and my office space in which I was supposed to be standing instead of actual sitting??
When I told him (after I left) that I felt uncomfortable because these terms were not what we initially discussed, he didn't say much of anything except to have his paper pad (approximate cost of 40 cents) mailed back to him at his office.
