Intially it was very straigthforward and well set up with multiple interviews within same week. Recruiter called to indicate I was “chosen” over the other four candidates they had narrowed the search to. BUT, unfortunately the company had reorganized the position and the responsibilities of the role were lumped with another role already filled. Recruiter then asked if I was interested in another very similar position, and based on my success with other interviewees the conversation would be more geared to what the new role was, not another interview. I was not opposed to another interview and after I "interviewed" again, I expressed interest for the role for the new position. That hiring manager stated if role was approved I would be offered the position and I should hear something from him or the recruiter the following week. I followed up with the recruiter a couple weeks later asking if role approved, she indicated she was leaving the organization and I would hear something soon. After many attempts at reaching out to Curt Comber (recruiter’s replacement), generic HR queries and even the hiring manager, I’ve concluded that this company just doesn’t feel they owe me anything, even a thanks for your time but…

HR then a telephonic conversation with hiring manager followed by a day long in person interviews at Model N office. HR is very slow in responding which is a negative for me as I was talking to multiple companies as they were with multiple candidates. HR will only respond when they have an update and keep you guessing rest of the time.
