The interview was conducted via WebEx with two interviewers who did not turn on their cameras. All participants in the interview, including myself, had thick accents, which made it challenging to communicate clearly and effectively. As a result, I frequently had to ask them to repeat their questions. This issue could have been mitigated if the interviewers had used their cameras, allowing us to better understand each other. Given the available technology, it is essential to utilize it, especially in an interview setting. Companies should ensure their employees are trained in proper interview techniques. During an interview, these individuals represent the company, and it is crucial they exhibit proper etiquette alongside their technical knowledge. While I did not pass the technical interview, I am not disappointed. I realize that I do not wish to work for a company that does not prioritize professional etiquette.
