Both interviews were quickly scheduled and went smoothly. First interview was your run of the mill "do you have the basic qualifications and are a good culture fit" type. Second interview was much more in depth in terms of my skills relating toward the opportunity. Both interviewers were engaging and asked good questions. The 2nd was especially enjoyable as the role was an excellent fit. Both interviewers constantly remarked on the company's desire to fill the role quickly but then ceased communicating entirely and I learned by reaching out to a current employee that both roles were filled internally. The poor communication really soured me on future opportunities with the company. It's fine that you filled these roles internally but please treat interviewees with some respect.
