Just to get to the interview, you need to take 2 rounds of online cognitive test which gave me an impression that company profile and standards are very high. However after I cleared the online tests, they scheduled my interview with the technical panel which was the actual interview round. On the interview day, they emailed me that they have filled the position and they are cancelling my interview. Wow! After wasting so much of my precious time which I could have utilised looking for better opportunities, I wasted preparing for this stupid interview. My suggestion is do not waste your time and commitment on these people, keep trying for other companies as well meanwhile. Also, just know that they can give any lame excuse to not select you even though you gave your best so better not waste time here. There are millions of good companies out there.
A recruiter initially reached out and coordinated the interviews. The first interview with the hiring manager was engaging and positive. However, the second round focused heavily on collaboration with the design team, with very little emphasis on engineering (definitely less questions compared to design), which seemed misaligned given the role’s closer partnership with engineering. The questions from the design interviewer felt more suited to a UX design position rather than a product role.
After that round, I waited three weeks without any update. Despite following up with the recruiter multiple times, I never received a response or an update. The lack of communication and clarity after the second interview was disappointing and left a poor impression. Based on this experience, I would not recommend the process. I completely understand if the company chose to move forward with another candidate, but clear communication would have been appreciated.
I have six long interviews over 3 months period, then got an offer and they turned down all of a sudden without any explanation
