The questions were well-balanced and covered several key areas:
Background & Experience — They asked me to walk through my career history and key achievements, focusing on how my past experience aligned with the role. Nothing tricky, just a genuine interest in understanding my journey.
Behavioral Questions — Classic "tell me about a time when..." style questions around topics like handling challenges, working cross-functionally, dealing with ambiguity, and driving results under pressure. These felt purposeful, not formulaic.
Situational & Role-Specific Questions — They presented realistic scenarios related to the position and asked how I would approach them. It gave me a real sense of what the job actually entails.
Motivation & Culture Fit — They asked about why I was interested in Mirakl specifically, what I knew about the marketplace industry, and what kind of environment I thrive in. It was clear they care about finding people who are genuinely excited about the mission.
Questions for Me — Every interviewer left plenty of time for my questions, which I really valued. It felt like a two-way conversation throughout.
