4 rounds of interviews including a project presentation. Job interviewing isn't supposed to be a piece of cake- this is the way a company is figuring you out and seeing if you can align with their team so I get the process and don't fault them for it. I found the Minoan team to be delightful- I had the chance to meet the CEO, the VP of property, the amazing recruiter for MINOAN and then the final round included the Head of People and the VP of Ops. I never felt not supported or confused about the process- the recruiter was consistently checking in and when I had questions about the final project, I got timely responses from the CEO and VP of Properties. Yeah- I didn't get the offer but it wasn't because of anything I did wrong, it was an internal decision that Minoan wanted to go in another direction with someone with different experience and also change the role to a more Director role instead of associate director. Delivering the news, I received feedback when I asked for it and also kind words of encouragement from the CEO and Head of People.
