Initial contact was from an HR recruiter. Conducted a quick 15 minute phone interview.
Recruiter decides to move you onto the next step with a phone interview with Director of Real Estate - the phone interview with him was an absolute joke. He wasn’t prepared, didn’t have questions ready and didn’t even look at my background/resume.
Third step in the in person interview with his team of 3 different managers and then an in person interview with the director of real estate (that the phone interview was done with) panel interview was okay, the team took turns asking questions and they actually did study my resume which was nice and they were able to ask questions. The in person interview with the director was different. He had a list of questions given to him from HR that were all behavioral questions.
1. Describe a time you had to make an unethical decision
2. Describe your experience dealing with a grievance
3. How did you deal with a difficult person
4. Share experience with budget management

1st: Phone Interview with HR Recruiter. Basic interview questions and she did ask what type of Salary was expected and she put a bracket out there of what the job was offering.
2nd: Phone Interview with Director of Real Estate - which did not absolutely make sense. The interviewer wasn't even prepared for the interview. He was busy doing something else on his computer because I could hear him typing and talking to someone. His questions were not genuine and sounded like he was googling them on the computer as we spoke.
After this phone interview a few days later I got a call from the Recruiter again asking me to schedule a time to come in and meet the team.
3rd: In person panel interview, 3 managers, and one director. First met with the 3 managers, I had to talk to them as they all took their turns asking me questions about my resume. Then the director came in, late... and didn't even have questions prepared. He used questions the recruiter sent to him on his email. He was not very personable and didn't even give me details in the questions he was asking. he was legitimately reading it off the screen. You can't get to really know if a person is going to fit into a manager role by going or sticking to a script.
