First there was a Pen-paper test which includes 3 sections: Section 1: Java basic coding questions(Quesn 1 to 10) Marks:10 No negative marking. Asked some basic coding questions based on operators, if else, for loop, exception handling, threads, etc. But yes, cutoff for this section is 60%. Section 2: Puzzle type section(Quesn 11 to 20) Marks:10 Again no negative marking. The puzzles questions is asked from indiabix.com. There was one arrangement problem,verbal analogy and statement(causes and its effects) problem from same(indiabix.com).Do practice thoroughly from indiabix. As it is questions was asked in this section.Cutoff for this section is 50%. Section 3: Essay Writing Marks:5 Write the essay in(20-25 line) one of the following:a) corruption in india b) Autobiography of pen c) an HR at a railway station. Timing is 45 minutes(includes all sections). After that HR said, if u get shortlisted , will call you.

I recently completed the full interview process with Mindgate, which included two technical rounds, an HR discussion, and documentation submission. From the beginning, I clearly communicated that my notice period would be 45–60 days. I was assured this was acceptable for the role. Over the course of almost a month, I proactively followed up multiple times via emails and calls to check the status. Each time, I received vague or misleading updates without clear communication. Finally, after a long wait, I was informed that the role required a 15-day notice period — directly contradicting what was communicated initially. I feel that the lack of transparency and the delay in providing critical information led to a significant waste of time and effort from my side. I hope this feedback helps future candidates and encourages Mindgate to improve their recruitment communication and process clarity.
