Had a Webex screening interview, got a call back to schedule an in-person interview. They were very accommodating since I was an out of state applicant and had to arrange a trip to fly from Colorado to Oklahoma. My in person interview was on time and I felt was very informative for myself and also I felt for them it was a very productive interview. I was disappointed after the fact however. I waited about 2 weeks to hear back for this position and heard nothing. I decided to call the recruiter and left a voicemail asking to make sure I didn't miss a call or an email and didn't hear back. I decided to check on their portal the week after my call and saw on my application status that it said "Not Selected." I completely understand that I may not have been the best person for the position, and I am happy for whoever got the position. But I am disappointed that I wasn't informed by a phone call or even the automated email. I even checked my junk folder just to make sure. Since the team was aware that I flew out on my own dime and that I made arrangements to interview with them I seem to have just wrongfully assumed that I would have been giving the professional courtesy to be notified that I wasn't selected for the position.
