J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 6 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Microsoft (Redmond, WA) en déc. 2015
Entretien
The interview process began with a screening interview on my college campus. Most questions were designed to gauge your product sense and make sure you had the right CS experience. The second stage was a series of 5 interviews on-site. The first one was a behavioral interview with a very senior person. Interviews 2, 3 and 4 were product questions. The last interview was a long conversation on what it's like to be a PM. All interviewers were very warm people and the questions they had selected were quite fun!

Question 1
Some behavioral questions, and a lot of product questions on Microsoft's products. You don't need to know in advance the in and outs of every Microsoft product but it helps to get a PM mindset beforehand. I prepared mostly with "Decode and Conquer: Answers to Product Management Interviews" by Lewis Lin. I found the book very helpful with lots of practice questions and template answers.

Entretien
Not a great experience with interviews taking 1 month to complete. Despite ongoing communication, the role did not move forward, reportedly due to approval constraints. The overall experience highlights a gap in aligning internal approvals before progressing candidates to advanced stages.
Clearer communication and better alignment internally would improve the candidate experience

Questions on Project Experience and Thought process

The interview process is grueling and I get why people do it but its more awareness, know that you'll spend an entire day and meet several people, so it's important to be mentally and physically prepared. Eat a good breakfast but not heavy stay hydrated. This was just for a PM role it's their standard process I imagine executive level is another thing altogether

Question 1
Tell me about a time you didn't agree with someone who was a stakeholder on your project and how did you handle that?
Very smooth, thoughtful interview process. It showed the recruiter really cared what I had to contribute and asked great followup clarifying questions. Would definitely recommend everyone try an interview with them even if it doesn't pan out.
